From Interns to Full-Time Employees: The Journey at Infinite Solutions

For Zlatko Jovanovski, Ivona Ilievska and Mario Jovanovski, this journey has led not only to personal growth but also full-time roles within the company. Here, they share their unique experiences of starting as interns and transitioning into Full-Time Employees.
What motivated you to apply for the Infinite Internship Program?
Zlatko: “I applied for the internship because the Power Platform development program seemed really interesting. I wasn’t familiar with it before, but I was eager to expand my knowledge.”
Mario: “Power Platform caught my attention. I knew I wanted to continue my career within the Microsoft ecosystem.”
Ivona: “I chose Infinite for my internship because it offered the chance to learn something new, something I hadn’t worked with before. The company’s dynamic environment and supportive colleagues exceeded my expectations.”

How did the mentorship you received during the internship contribute to your personal and professional growth?
Mario: “The mentorship experience was exceptional. I had the chance to learn from experienced professionals who provided guidance, feedback, and support. They shared their knowledge in a professional yet friendly manner, which made the whole learning process enjoyable.”
Ivona: “The mentors were really dedicated to the program. We had regular meetings to review our tasks, and they encouraged us to think independently. This helped me a lot, and in the end, I was able to present my final project with confidence.”
Zlatko: “Mentors Darko and Martin had an excellent program for us. They were always available for questions and clarifications. Their encouragement to think independently, without the fear of making mistakes, really helped me to present my innovative solution in the best possible way.”
What were some of the biggest challenges you encountered during your internship, and how did you overcome them?
Ivona: “The biggest challenge for me was adjusting to the work pace and collaborating with my colleagues. Power Platform was new to me, and the initial task of defining tables and relationships took some time. With the help of my mentors, I quickly got the hang of it.”
Mario: “Mastering the full range of Power Platform capabilities and applying them effectively to solve real-world problems. Yet, with the structured tasks and continuous support from my mentors and colleagues, I was able to overcome these challenges.”
Zlatko: “What my colleagues already mentioned: adjusting to work pace and collaborating with colleagues; and initially defining tables and relationships as Power Platform was new to me. We quickly found common goals, and with the help of my mentors, we overcame all challenges.
Despite the initial learning curve, the final projects were a major highlight of the internship. Here’s how each of our interns approached and overcame their final project challenges:
Zlatko: “The final project was particularly challenging. I worked on a desk reservation app, and the entire process of developing it taught me valuable lessons about both the technical and creative sides of the Power Platform.”
Mario: ” Yes, the most challenging yet interesting parts was the final project. I developed a Car Rental app, where users with a few mouse clicks could reserve and rent the vehicle and upon making the reservation receive an invoice with the details of the rental.”
Ivona: “I had to develop a Hotel Room Service application in just two weeks. Guests could order room service with a few clicks, while employees could manage the orders. It was a challenging but rewarding experience, and through this project, I improved my problem-solving skills and creativity.”

As you transition from interns to full-time team members, how has the internship experience prepared you for this next step, and what role did mentorship and team support play in your journey?
Mario: “The internship was a perfect launchpad for my career. I gained practical experience and built strong relationships, which made my transition to a full-time role at Infinite seamless. The support from the team and mentors has been invaluable.”
Zlatko: “The internship helped me build confidence in my technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Transitioning into a full-time role was natural, as I had already built strong relationships with the team and gained hands-on experience in the field.”
Ivona: “Incredible learning experience, and I felt fully supported by my mentors and colleagues. When the opportunity to become a full-time employee came up, I felt ready to take on more responsibilities and continue growing within the company.”
